I can totally relate to your horse mad child and now as a parent I can totally relate to you too if all you’ve been hearing for the last few months or years is “I want a pony”!

My Own Your Own Pony programme has been specifically designed and created so your horse mad child can get a real feel for what it’s like to not only ride a pony but own one which is great news for you and them!

Included in the day are activities such as;

• Grooming - this is a big part of owning your own horse and teaches responsibility, discipline and compassion for the animal which also leads to self confidence and a sense of pride in your child

• Saddling - teaches your child how to saddle up their horse with care thinking of both the horse and themselves

• We are big on natural horsemanship which means we teach lots of ground skills. Kid’s get to know their horses mentally, emotionally and physically which leads to all sorts of benefits for your child such as helping them develop and build on key social skills, self confidence, self belief and more.

• Riding - of course horse riding is a big part of the day and one our horse crazy kids enjoy to the max! We’re also big on making sure all our experiences are super fun and safe too.

• Feeding - taking care of our horses dietary needs is a great lesson and it’s important your child knows not just what to feed, but how to feed and once again teaches them responsibility.

• Last but not least are the barn chores which is super important when having a horse. Cleaning up after horses at the end of the day shows your child the full experience from start to finish so they know what to expect if they’re lucky enough to get their very own pony one day!
